Behind the Concept : ‘Ethos’
For this introduction we decided it be proper to present this rebirth as an opening through the doorway that leads into our inner universe. It’s been 2 fulfilling years manifesting to this exact moment and we’re extremely grateful to share what we’ve been cultivating with you now and forever. With this Spring Release we offer you a first deep dive into the over arching narrative we are building with Forgotten Youth. We aim to convey the importance of Self Expression, Exploration, Awareness and use of Imagination. Through the lens of an Esoteric and Spiritual Perspective we receive inspiration from our understanding of Ancient Wisdom, Reality and Nature to channel our Creative Vision.
With that being said we are extremely proud to unveil our first concept to this era of FY, the ‘Ethos’ Piece …
We’ve had our brand’s Ethos for a couple years now and felt it necessary to bring it the fold and incorporate the written piece with a visual counterpart to create this final cohesive concept.
To be honest our favorite illustrative aspect is the frame is a literal open doorway. Very reminiscent of the Door of Durin from Lord of the Rings which was even more exciting. It feels organic and serendipitous that the heart of this design is framed the way it is. With this release we’re entering a completely new field of vision for the brand. Something we’re proud of will build for years to come. At it’s core this piece reflects our own journey of Awareness, through our Knowledge of Self and understanding of reality around us we become more aware to who we are and what lives we strive to lead. The BLOOM Icon to us, has always symbolized a constant “Surge of Growth and Change” we experience everyday in Nature. At an even deeper/personal level the icon symbolizes Universal Energy, The Divine Spark. We are the Universe experiencing itself through different perspectives, the connection we have within is expressed externally.
